Glu Mobile Inc. has announced an expanded partnership with Activision Publishing, Inc. to bring five blockbuster Activision titles to the mobile platform. The upcoming titles will be published worldwide for carriers and application stores that support Android, Blackberry, BREW, J2ME and Windows Mobile.
“We are delighted to expand our relationship with Activision. Through our past relationship, we have already demonstrated Glu’s ability to bring superior quality mobile games to market that are true to the original console title,” said Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing, Glu. “We look forward to continuing our success with Activision as we roll out new mobile games based on some of the best-known franchises in the video game industry.”
“As a result of our successful partnership with Glu Mobile on the worldwide launch of Call of Duty®: World at War™,we know they are the right partner to help us bring quality and innovative game play to the mobile platform,” said Dave Anderson, Head of Business Development, Activision Publishing, Inc. “We are excited to work with them once again to bring several of our biggest holiday 2009 titles to mobile consumers around the world.”
Sounds good doesn’t it? Activision have brought some great titles to consoles in the past few years, and Glu are renowned for their work on Mobile – so I think it’s fair for us to have big expectations of this partnership – bring on the games!!
