Here’s something for our French readers who (or their kids) love Betty Boop. Samsung has launched a simple slider branded with Betty Boop and of course filled with the related mobile content. Obviously the Korean giant and France’s Bouygues Télécom (Samsung’s partner for the device) are targeting younger population, hence it’s the famous Boop style and not the features they’re pushing in the marketing messages.
Specs wise, there’s a GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity on board, music player, VGA camera, FM radio, and a microSD memory card slot — meaning the Samsung Betty Boop could be easily used as an MP3 player, too.
Those interested should know the price — the device could be yours for 129 EUR or for 1 EUR with a two-year contract from Bouygues Télécom. Along with the device, there’s a Betty Boop pouch included in the box to further entice you to buy…
