Sony Ericsson announces Head of Region North America and Head of Region Western Europe appointments

Sony Ericsson announced new management appointments for North America and Western Europe.

Anderson Teixeira is appointed President of Sony Ericsson US and Head of Region North America. Effective 1st June, the current Head of Region Western Europe, will move to Raleigh, North Carolina. He will be responsible for Sony Ericsson’s sales and marketing operations in the US and Canada and will report to Anders Runevad, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Sales & Marketing.

At the same time, Kristian Tear has been announced as a successor of Teixeira, and will combine this new role with his current responsibilities as Head of Sony Ericsson’s Global Customer Operations. He’ll do his new job from Munich, Germany. Under his leadership at his last post, the company has grown its marketshare and established a position as a leading supplier and partner…
