If Star Wars fans can have a jedi knight sword app, the same can be done for Star Trek fans. And that’s just what happened recently.
The application, released just in time when the new movie is set to hit the theaters, is called Star Trek Phaser and it allows users to simulate their favorite’s phaser behavior. You can select either to “kill” or “stun” the fictional enemy and let the app produce an appropriate sound and visual effect. Moreover, you can also play shooting games against computer or against your buddy which is in the same WiFi network. Highscores can be submitted to see how you stack against the global competition…
Interested? It’s a free app, meaning you could try it out even if you prefer Joda over Kirk, right?
