While heading down to my office this morning, I caught myself thinking ‘I wonder what BlackBerry OS leak will hit us today?’. After about 30 seconds on the computer, I was presented with yet another OS leak, to no surprise at all. The latest leak os OS 4.7.0.132 for the BlackBerry Storm 9530. Folks running the 9530 have actually been waiting a little while for one of these updates, so a light smattering of applause is in order.

If you’re on a 9530 and absolutely have to grab the latest OS for your device, you can get it here. Keep in mind, this is an unofficial release… Backup your device and take all necessary precautions before proceeding. And if you do move forward with the update… Happy OS updating!

Just downloaded latest Os. The screens brightness is dimmer but then spontaneously achevies full brightness. It is much faster but at the same time the little clock icon seems to show up more, if that makes any sense. The responsiveness is night and day- its just so much faster. That’s all I have after my first half hour of play. Oh and the browser seems a bit faster as well

Just got the update last night. I have run through most of the 3rd party apps and they work fine.
Except one…youtube. I have to have my youtube. So i’ll be downgrading to 4.7.0.122. I cant say
one way or other which is faster. All I know is .122 is the only “offical OS update”. So im
    sticking with that.
