New Plantronics Voyageur Pro Focuses on Noise Cancellation

Plantronics has announced a new Bluetooth headset, the Voyager Pro, which uses some new noise cancellation technology called AudioIQ2. The beauty of it is that its noise cancellation works on both outbound voice through the mic and sound coming in to the earpiece. On top of that, the dual-microphone boom has lots of wind protection built in, which can be a big problem when taking calls outside. I’m definitely noticing some design similarities between the Voyager Pro and stereo Backbeats I had tried a few months ago, namely with the flexible neck plastic/rubber combination. Not a bad-looking headset overall, and potentially great for those who mean serious business when it comes to call quality. Pick yours up from Best Buy for $99.99; those in Asia and Europe will see the Voyager Pro in June or July.
