Fido customers, your Twitter experience just got a little bit better. Rogers’ discount carrier has announced that customers will soon be able to send and receive updates from Twitter by SMS text message via short code 21212. Better yet, there will be no additional cost for Fido customers already on text messaging plans. Woohoo!
Hold on to your horses because the service isn’t live just yet, but it will be soon. If you’re on Fido and love to ‘Tweet’, you’ll want to sign up for a text messaging plan to take full advantage.
For now, I’m going to sit here with arms crossed waiting for Rogers to make a similar announcement for their main network… it can’t be far off, right?…
