Motorola A1200R is A1200 MING with widgets for Argentina

Similarly to what they did for China, Motorola is resurrecting its A1200 aka MING all-touchscreen handset for Argentina, and we guess other Latin American markets. The trick, however, is in the small upgrades that now sees the MING supporting widgets for weather, latest news, and so on. Moreover, the updated version called A1200R also comes with Microsoft Office reader and business card scanner apps, and FM radio. Rest of the specs are identical to the original MING and include QVGA touchscreen and 2 megapixel camera. Larger, 1GB memory card is now included in the retail box.

Finally, our Argentinian readers may care to know about the pricing. We can’t tell you that as we haven’t heard anything on that. Availability is also unknown information at this stage, but considering Motorola already have what it takes to produce this kind of device, I guess the launch date is around the corner…
