Samsung S5050

Samsung S5050 is the latest low-to-mid range slider from the Korean giant. Unlike the one we discussed earlier, S5200, this one dumps TFT screen for the one powered by AMOLED technology. As a result, the screen looks more beautiful and colors are more vivid.

Rest of the specs include quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio with RDS, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, 800 mAh battery, media player, 40 MB of internal memory that is further expandable with microSD cards. Size wise, the device measures 105x49x14.6 mm and has a weight of 102 grams.

As for availability, the Samsung S5050 will start hitting store shelves and possibly carrier portfolios during this summer. The price is set at 168 EUR, which is about $235.
