Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 firmware update goes live with better signal reception

The XPERIA X1 R3A firmware update also increases the keyboard backlight intensity, speeds up the media panel (as part of the Panel UI), and improves touchscreen responsiveness (resistive touchscreen, in this case).

X1 owners will want to hit up Sony Ericsson’s device update website here. You’ll be whisked away to the land of updated Windows Mobile firmwares, where you’ll be allowed to update your XPERIA X1 with ease.
