Pharos announced that its Windows Mobile 6.1-based (WinMo 6.5 ready) smartphone, Traveler 137, is now available for purchase. Their “partner in crime” is T-Mobile, which is offering the device for $350 on a contract. Alternatively, those who want to grab the device sans any strings attached will have to pour out $600 to grab the Traveller 137 unlocked.
Specs wise, Pharos’ baby comes with 3.1 megapixel camera along with front-facing VGA camera, quad-band GSM/EDGE, tri-band (1700/1900/2100 MHz) 7.2Mbps HSDPA, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM tuner, and a microSD memory card slot.
In a nutshell, it’s a decent, yet kinda expensive WinMo smartphone…
