One can’t help but think the timing on this one is a bit horrible. Why couldn’t Verizon wait for the Sunday launch to integrate this new OS for launch? Who knows, perhaps everything was already set in stone and ready to go (guess it was). Whatever the case, I can guarantee a few folks at Verizon are saying ‘next time, we do this a bit differently’.
So what the heck am I talking about? Well, Verizon has just launched OS 4.7.1.40 for the newly released BlackBerry Tour 9630. It’s available right now at Verizon’s download site. As always, if you plan to run the update, make sure you backup your new Tour and take all necessary precautions.
