Nokia E72 cleared by the FCC

FCC has been busy these days as they got to play with the Nokia E72 before the rest of us. We’re pleased to say that the version of the device they got sings along AT&T’s and Rogers Wireless’ 3G networks. This means HSPA on 850 and 1900 MHz frequencies, and in addition the E72 supports European 2100 MHz band. We don’t see any carrier branding on the device, meaning that during the first few weeks/months, E72 will most likely be a Nokia Flagship Store thing, only. Hopefully AT&T will jump on board soon afterwards…
