Die-hard readers over here at IntoMobile may have noticed my abscence this past weekend. Was out in Minneapolis over the weekend, and boy, it was nice to leave things behind for a few days for some rest and relaxation (ok, and maybe a few beers too). As I’m slowly getting back up-to-speed here, I noticed that a couple of BlackBerry OS updates became available over the weekend. Of course, they’re both of the ‘unofficial’ kind, so do install at your own risk.

First we have OS 5.0.0.140 for the BlackBerry Storm 9500. There are two download links available for this one. The first one comes with RIM’s beta tracking tool ‘Quincy’. If you install this version, be sure to go add/remove programs and uninstall RIM Internal Apps 5.0. The other version right here has no ‘Quincy’ or internal tools built-in to the package. I’d recommend it.

Next comes OS 5.0.0.130 for the Bold and Curve 8900. You can grab it for the Bold right here, or the Curve 8900 right here.

Happy OS updating to all of the Storm 9500, Bold and Curve 8900 users!
