Video: Guided tour of the HTC Sense UI

Wondering what the HTC Sense approach to UI design looks like? Well wonder no more, as we take you on a guided tour around parts of the HTC Hero‘s UI and the Android OS. HTC created the Sense UI as a replacement for the traditional homescreen and user interface that comes with the Android OS. HTC drew design inspiration from their TouchFLO 3D UI as well as some (ahem) other multi-touch platforms, and it all adds up to a very impressive interface.

The HTC Hero that you see in this video is a great Android smartphone. It’s a great smartphone that can go heads-up with the heaviest hitters – the iPhone 3GS and Palm Pre and Touch Diamond2 come to mind. The Hero is endowed with high-end hardware like GPS, 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, 3G data, speedy processor and capacitance touchscreen – which is great. But, the Sense UI really make the handset shine.

Watch in awe as we tour the camera/camcorder app, and marvel in wonderment as we check out such delights as Flash-capable Internet browser. All this and more can be found in the HD video below:
