
LG is out with a new clamshell marked KG376. It’s a super basic device with 128×128 pixels screen, which should be good enough for text messaging, taking and making phone calls, and other basic operations. External screen is out and is replaced with a LED light which reportedly blinks when a new SMS arrives or someone calls you.
What makes this phone cool, though, is its color (purple with pink accents) thanks to which LG may actually sell a bunch of these to first time phone buyers — young girls, that is. Pricing and availability information are unknown at this stage, and I doubt we’ll hear more about the KG376…
