Both the personal and professional editions of PocketDay have been updated, according to a forums post by the developers at Cross River Systems. If you’re unfamiliar with PocketDay, it’s a handy app that turns your Today screen into a fully customizable interface, bringing all sorts of information to your fingertips…. Such as unread email, weather, news, times, calendar entries, and much more. This update brings the app to version 5.6… and includes full Twitter functionality!

New updates and features in 5.6:

  • Up to 2 Twitter Accounts
  • Timelines for your account, Friends, etc.
  • Trends
  • Direct Messages
  • Followers

Free 30-day trials are available for both versions, and you can pick them up OTA via http://www.pocketday.com/ota.htm. If you likey and want to purchase, the personal version will set you back $19.95, the professional version will run you $34.95. Make sure you’re running at least OS 4.2 before you install… anything older than that and the app won’t work, trust me.
