Two Windows Mobile handsets have popped up their heads: the HTC Diamond 2 (code-named Whitestone elsewhere), and the Mega (whose UI was recently spotted). Only the Mega will be shipping with Windows Mobile 6.5, although the specs on it aren’t exactly bedazzling (3 megapixel fixed-focus camera, QVGA display, 528 Mhz processor). The Diamond 2 we already know well enough: 3.6″ WVGA touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera, and aGPS, but that new white border is notably different. We already had an inkling that VZ would be picking up the Diamond 2 sometime soon, but tipsters are hinting a September/October release, while the Mega’s release date is still unknown.
