The Nokia 5530, which is a Nokia 5800 with a smaller screen (3.2 inches vs. 2.9 inches), no 3G and no GPS, has just gone up on Nokia’s USA website for preorder reports SlashGear. The problem is the cost: $290, and that’s without taxes and shipping. Nokia’s 5800, which has been out for a while now, can be purchased from Amazon for $300 shipped, and depending on which state you live in, you don’t pay taxes either. I’m not talking about the European version either, this is the full blown American version, with full warranty. Yes the 5530 is prettier, but you really don’t know how huge of a killer feature GPS is; I honestly can’t go back to using devices without GPS.
