The HTC Mega, which Simon found a photo of earlier this month, now has a leaked specification sheet thanks to the ai.rs blog. Being a budget smartphone, don’t expect too much: 3.2 megapixel fixed focus camera, 2.8 inch 320 x 240 resolution screen, 7.2 Mbps HSPA on the 900 MHz and 2100 MHz bands, quadband GSM/EDGE, Windows Mobile 6.5, 256 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, 104 mm x 55 mm x 12.8 mm, microSD card slot and a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor all being powered by a 1100 mAh battery.

No word on pricing, but expect this device to be available during Q4 of this year. For a budget smartphone, this is pretty good, but I can’t imagine myself recommending a Windows Mobile device to someone. Symbian, sure, iPhone, definitely, Android, why not? But Windows Mobile … not feeling the love. TouchFLO 2.0 2D might make me change my mind however, those screenshots do look yummy.
