After snooping around a Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM, the ability to save group contacts for SMS and e-mail has been discovered. Sending messages to multiple recipients was never a problem on WinMo, but handling the contacts could use some polishing. When using one of the group contacts made from this screen, the message will actually list each recipient, allowing you to tweak the list before hitting Send. It’s a small, but much needed addition to Windows Mobile, and I think we’re all looking forward to finding more hidden gems like this when Windows Mobile 6.5 goes live on October 6. To try this feature for yourself, check out Herg’s ROM.
