Anyone for a cheaper myTouch 3G? Sure, why not, right!? T-Mobile has dropped the price on the Android-powered device, from the initial offering of $199.99 down to $149.99. The new pricing is good for new subscribers and updates, and best of all, no mail-in rebate is required! I personally believe that $99.99 might be the ‘magic’ price-point for this device, and that the $149.99 pricing might have been a better initial offer. After all, when you consider the iPhone 3G sitting pretty at $99… It would have been a nice option for T-Mobile to drop the price from $149.99 to $99.99 to compete directly with Apple and grab some more sales. But hey, what the heck do I know :P

For all the details head on over to T-Mobile.
