BabyNames.com’s press release starts with a “standard iPhone app” line:
Rushing to the delivery room without a baby name? There’s an app for that!
The baby naming website’s iPhone app helps you pick a name for your baby, even while on the go. I can’t imagine a scenario above, but then again, you never know.
The application gives you access to BabyNames.com’s database of over 15,000 names, along with a meaning for each name. You can try out first and middle names with your last name, and save a list of your favorites for a later review. In addition, there’s the infamous random name generator, as well as the “name of the day” feature, which I doubt many will actually use…
Anyway, if this is something you like, prepare to pour out $4.99 to grab BabyNames from the AppStore. Here’s the link.
