Samsung Behold II is smarter than its predecessor thanks to Android; Coming to T-Mobile USA just in time for holidays

Samsung Behold II is powered by Android

Samsung and T-Mobile USA announced the second Behold all-touchscreen device. Unlike the original Behold, the second generation is not a feature phone. Rather it’s powered by Android, providing tons of new capabilities to its future users.

Specs wise, the Behold II comes with a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen (we’re not sure whether it’s capacitive or resistive), 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, aGPS, WiFi, 3G, 16GB of built-in storage, Bluetooth 2.1, Microsoft Exchange support, voicemail, and so on. Samsung’s sexy TouchWIZ user interface is running the show on top of Android.

Availability and pricing information were not detailed. All we know is that the Behold II is “scheduled to launch before the start of the holidays,” meaning we’re talking weeks rather than months here. Stay tuned…
