Cricket has a new device in its portfolio for heavy texters. It’s called Cricket MSGM8 (Message Mate) and it’s a compact bar QWERTY phone with pre-installed apps for email and instant messaging. In addition, the phone comes with a 2.2-inch screen, 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, speech recognition, Mobile Web and so on.
In a nutshell, the MSGM8 is a low-end messaging phone and in that sense Cricket is asking for only $99.99 for the device. Actually, that’s the price ’till Monday, November 30th, so if you’re interested – you better hurry.
