Patrik Andersson, formerly Channel Manager at LG, is now Head of HTC Sweden. Having recently took office his first order of business was to recruit 10 people under him to handle sales and marketing in the land of IKEA and meatballs. He says that standing in a room full of people arguing about megapixels and other useless specifications is not the type of environment where HTC thinks it should be, instead they’re focused solely on user experience and that the iPhone is a huge inspiration. He also unveiled that the successor to the much loved HTC Hero, which only hit store shelves in July of this year, will be shown off at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2010 and that it will be in stores shortly thereafter. Which of the 20 codenames recently leaked do you think is the HTC Hero 2? My money is on Legend. Hope you don’t get in trouble Patrik, your loose lips generate big hits.
