Good news for all the AT&T fans out there, if any. The carrier may be adding the Snapdragon-powered Acer Liquid A1 Android smartphone to its portfolio in the near future. That’s 1GHz CPU baby!!!
The FCC has approved the version of the Liquid that comes with AT&T’s 3G bands – 850 / 1900 MHz, meaning the device is ready for prime time.
Since the Christmas shopping season is closing within two weeks, I would bet AT&T will use CES to officially add its support to the Android platform. And yes, we salute them for taking that route!
And no, we don’t have this confirmed. It’s only me thinking/hoping out loud.
