Audio: Nokia confirms S40 devices in 2010 to get QWERTY, dual SIM and touch screen support

There are a lot of “he said, she said” rumours flying around about Nokia making dual SIM card equipped devices next year. After Dusan’s post a few minutes ago I was determined find the sound bite confirming Nokia’s commitment to bringing dual SIM devices to market. Here is a quote from a speech Kai Öistämö, Executive Vice President of Devices, gave at Nokia Capital Markets Day on December 02, 2009:

“Next year you can also expect other developments in Series 40 such as adding QWERTY keyboards, dual SIM, touch UI, and so on.”

I’ve also made a 10 second mp3 file for those who think I’m making this shit up. Listen to the whole 16 minute speech by clicking the speaker icon next to Kai’s name. Now can we please remove this from the rumour category? It’s a fact.
