My favorite BlackBerry sports news and scores app, ScoreMobile, has just passed the 1 million download mark! Quite impressive, especially when you consider the app for BlackBerry only launched roughly 7 months ago.

Dale Fallon, director of Mobile for Score Media commented:

“ScoreMobile is about convenience and simplicity…Time and time again we hear from sports fans who personally recommend ScoreMobile to their friends and family – sports fans wouldn’t let sports fans use anything less.”

I can’t recommend this app highly enough. I personally us it almost every day, mostly to check live scores or scores for games I have missed. Occasionally I pop it open to read various news items as well… From around the MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA, and more (there’s even NASCAR and EPL updates). All of the major sports leagues are in there (with scores, standings, news, and more), so trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

For more information or to download, visit ScoreMobile BlackBerry.

Note: ScoreMobile is available for iPhone as well (yes, it rocks too).

ScoreMobile would even be better if we can access the point standing and up-to-date driver information in Nascar. Right now, they just have the leaderboard, who won the race and track info. Also, would be nice to have the dates showing along with the tracks listed. You can see the dates once you press the track, but it would be nice to see it without having the press each individual track.
