Eldar Murtazin, the man, the rock star, the legend, has some inside information regarding the 16 GB Nokia X6. For those unfamiliar with the current X6, it’s Nokia’s first and only capacitive touch screen device. It runs Symbian, it has 32 GB of onboard storage, and you can only buy it with Nokia’s “Comes with Music” service. When it first came out I tore it a new asshole, saying that people should not be subjected to the “Comes with Music Tax”, and that Nokia not been trying to push their pathetic alternative to iTunes down people’s throats then it might have become one of the hottest holiday stocking stuffers.

Strong feelings aside, days later the 16 GB model showed up on Expansys with an estimated ship date of “February 2010″ for 345 British Pounds. That price has now dropped to 330 British Pounds (or 375 Euros or $535) and the release date is now pegged at February 23.

So what does Eldar know? He simply tweeted: “Nokia X6 16 Gb – colors – black/black; white/pink, white/blue; I like white color. No headset like in X6. But price is less – 100 Euro”

Translation: The 16 GB Nokia X6 will cost 100 Euros less than the 32 GB version of the Nokia X6, which was 450 EUR when it was announced, and it comes in either black, pink or blue.

Tore it a new asshole? Meaning what? Anyways, I’ll tell you what, it’s been a long road for me with mobile phones, and as far as a business person who really needs his tools to work, also on that dreaded Monday morning, I must say that Nokia has done it in flying colors, yes they have made some mistakes, but as a tool, I think Nokia is par none.
