Mozilla Firefox for Android

After Maemo, Firefox Mobile (aka Fennec) is about to conquer another Linux-based platform – Android. This is not to say something’s wrong with the built-in Webkit-based browser, quite the contrary, but as you know – more choices are always welcome.

According to Camp-firefox.de, the first usable beta of Firefox Mobile for Android may be out in February. After getting all the experience from Maemo, we can only hope the “path to the first release candidate” won’t take too long. We’ll certainly report as soon as it hits the Android Market. Stay tuned…
