A quickie here for anyone packing the BlackBerry Curve 8530. Over the weekend an OS leak occurred (albeit an unofficial one), giving us OS 5.0.0.463 for the 8530. It’s been a little while for 8530 owners, as the last OS leak was way back at .386. If you’ve got a BlackBerry 8530 in-hand, and feel an OS update is in order, you can get started with the download right here.
As always, be sure to take all necessary precautions before you proceed. If you do install, let us know if you find any crucial updates or tweaks in this build.
