Samsung Monte Slider E2550 and Monte Bar C3200 unveiled

And we have the specs of two Samsung Monte phones we briefly talked about earlier today… not that Samsung actually mentioned them at their Bada/Wave event – we got the info from a PDF file in the press kit. Without further ado, here’s what to expect:

Samsung Monte Slider (E2550)

  • Dual-band GSM/GPRS (900/1800 MHz)
  • 2-inch QVGA display
  • 1.3-megapixel camera with video recording capability
  • Media player, social networking app (Facebook), FM radio
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • 12 MB of internal memory, microSD card slot (up to 8GB)
  • 800 mAh battery
  • Dimensions: 98.5×48.5×14.35 mm / 85.5 grams

Samsung Monte Bar (C3200)

  • Quad-band GSM/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
  • 2-inch QVGA display
  • 2-megapixel camera
  • Media player, FM radio with recording, music recognition
  • 3.5mm headset jack
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • 40 MB of internal memory, microSD card slot (up to 8GB)
  • 960 mAh battery
  • Dimensions: 111.8×46.9×13.3 mm / 77.3 grams

In a nutshell, both Monte Slider and Monte Bar are low-end handsets which will probably be offered in emerging markets, big time.
