TELUS BlackBerry Curve 8530 Pricing Woes

The last couple of days have seen some interesting price shifts on the TELUS BlackBerry Curve 8530. At launch, the 8530 was priced at $49.99 on TELUS, and shortly thereafter pricing dropped to $24.99. A solid price on a solid device, for sure. The other day, for some reason, pricing sky-rocketed to $149.99 on the same 3-year contract. Odd for sure… But I think in the end we can chalk it up to a boo-boo on TELUS’ end.

Checking back in in the site this morning I noticed pricing was back down to $24.99 on the same 3-year contract. Much better. If you’ve been eyeballing  the device lately, but were shocked by the $149.99 price tag, you weren’t alone. It’s OK, things are better now.

The TELUS BlackBerry Curve 8530 is available now in Silver and Red for $24.99. The 8530 packs the typical full-QWERTY keyboard, microSD expansion to 16GB, 3G, WiFi, optical trackpad, OS 5.0 and much more.
