Rogers Samsung Galaxy Spica

Just the other day we found out the Samsung Galaxy ‘Spica’ would be coming to Rogers… an addition like this is quite notable, as it would be the first Android offering on Rogers since the HTC Dream and Magic took hold. While launch date details are still up on the air, I do have some pricing information to pass along.

Thanks to the good folks at MobileSyrup, we’ve managed to get our hands on a few shots of Rogers’ internal systems… Shots that detail what appears to be pricing details on the Spica. So what’s it going to be? It’s looking like $79.99 on a 3-year term, and $449.99 for the device outright.

$79.99 ain’t that bad, but I’m still hoping the device will ship with Android 2.0… All accounts I’ve read will have it coming with the stock 1.5 experience. We’ll see. Other key features of the Samsung Galaxy Spica include a 3.2MP camera with video, a powerful 800MHz processor, 3.2″ touchscreen display (320×480), WiFi, 3.5mm headset jack, A-GPS, microSD expansion to 32GB and more.

Stay tuned for more details on the Rogers Samsung Galaxy Spica.

The Gaxaxy Spica will be the “4th” Android device to be offered by Rogers.

Along with the Dream and Magic, Rogers launched the LG EVE (GW620 ???). The Eve was launched as the Etna, I believe in Europe.

Rogers is also said to bring the Motorola Quench, Acer e Liquid and Sony Ericcson Experia X10.
