DataInherit.com, which is an online bank for private password and document storage, it joining the “iPhone race” with a dedicated application. Apparently developed by Swiss online banking security experts, DataInherit Password Safe allows users to manage and access their passwords anywhere and anytime.

So why on Earth would you want to use DataInherit’s service, instead of some others? Here’s why (from the press release):

In contrast to other apps DataInherit stores passwords centrally in its Swiss banking data centers. Centralized storage makes a difference as customers only need to enter or change a password once and then they have it available anytime and from all devices. The central data center also offers highest protection against loss as well as providing long-term preservation of customer data.

In other words, DataInherit wants you think of their service as an “online safe” which is as secure as Swiss banks.

DataInherit Password Safe is a free application for existing users, whereas new users should register before grabbing the app from iTunes.
