Hey Stormies, a quick OS update for ya! Looks like an official (yes, I said OFFICIAL) OS is available for download to your Storm2. Coming to us via Verizon, OS 5.0.0.607 is available right now. If you’re packing a Verizon 9550 chances are you’ve already received the popup on your homescreen. If not, no worries, simply hit up the link below. It’s important to note that you’ll need to be running an official Verizon OS to make this update. Keep this in mind if you’re on another carrier or are running a leaked OS. Some OS downgrading/switching may be in your future if you need this one.
As always, be sure to backup your device and take all necessary precautions before you proceed. AND, if you find anything newsworthy after you update and spend some time with it… Be sure to let us know in the comments!
