Like we needed an extra reason to sign up for the Evernote Premium, the company has made the service even better. Two major changes were made:
- Note History, and
- Support for 50 MB notes
Let’s talk about Note History, first. I’m sure you understand what it is all about. Every now and then, Evernote will take a snapshot of its Premium users’ notebooks and save it for eventual future use. Then, if you accidentally delete some note (or part of note), you’ll be able to recall it at some later point. In other words – it’s versioning, which is known to provide a piece of mind!
The second big news is support for larger, 50 MB notes. In effects, that’s double from the previous limit of 25 MB, making it perfect for storing larger files such as presentations, images, PDF files and more. To be fair, personally I don’t need all that capacity, despite the fact that I keep all business cards scanned in Evernote (which are then easily searchable thanks to the OCR magic). However, it’s good to know there’s no need to worry about a single note’s size any more.
And you can get additional details on the new changes from Evernote’s “official blog post.” While there, I encourage you to give Evernote a try if you still haven’t. 😉
