Life.com gets an iPhone app, too

In a world where everyone and their mama have an iPhone app, we still get surprised to see some big name company joining the bandwagon so late. Life.com, a web arm of the Life Magazine, is such an example which just announced their iBaby. I don’t want to bash them too much, after all they’re out now – and that’s important.

Anyway, here are the key features of Life.com’s iPhone app:

  • Gallery – all (or many of) photos from the Life.com website are now even more easily accessible on your iDevice (you could’ve accessed their website via Safari, but that’s no longer needed).
  • Create your own magazine cover – show your friends you’re so important that you ended up on a Life Magazine’s cover page. Very cool!
  • Photo Face-Off – a little game where you decide which photos could make it on Life.com.

Finally, there are “social capabilities” built inside the app, allowing you to share everything you find and/or make in/with the app with friends and family via email, Twitter and Facebook.
