LG Mobile Phones is teaming up with fashionable stars Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria Parker to promote two of its touchscreen mobile phones – LG Lotus Elite and LG Rumor Touch. The campaign, called LG Fashion Touch, is envisioned to promote “personal style and the idea that mobile phones have become the latest in fashion communication.”

As part of the deal, LG will produce a print and online campaign, series of MTV vignettes, consumer promotion as well as an event in Los Angeles:

  • In addition to the two stars, MTV vignettes — which are produced and directed by documentarist Doug Keeve — depict two talented up and coming fashion designers – Yotam Solomon and Oday Shakar.
  • The print ads were shot by fashion photographer, Ellen Von Unwerth, and are set to launch this week.
  • LG has also created the Fashion Touch Style Quiz on its LG Fashion Touch Facebook page, giving users a chance to win tickets to the LG Fashion Touch event in May.
  • Finally, Victoria and Eva will host an LG exclusive party that will include celebrities, stylists and fashion insiders.

And in case you wonder, the LG Lotus Elite and LG Rumor Touch are successors to the popular LG Lotus and LG Rumor. Both devices are available through Sprint for $99.99 and $79.99, respectively. That’s with a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
