Greystripe is all proud to announce a 200% growth, month over month for its “iAds-like” iFlash advertisements for iPhone. According to the press release, this huge spike in ad bookings comes on the heels of the iAd announcement.

As you probably know, Apple will allow developers to include rich-media ads in their apps. Greystripe, on its end, has been been delivering such ads on the iPhone platform for over 18 months now.

The rich-media network currently holds a 75% market share of the full screen rich media mobile market. Over the past 2 years, they have served over 2 billion full screen rich media impressions, reaching 14 million unique monthly users in the U.S.

And despite the fact that Apple’s entrance to the market will definitely increase competition, Greystripe believes the whole market will grow, hence many players, not just Cupertino folks, will benefit.

And in case you wander, Greystripe’s “iFlash Custom” ads deliver high user engagement rates, which reach 2 to 5% CTR on average, with 15-30+ seconds of user engagement.
