Novatel Wireless has found itself two new distribution partners for the MiFi 2352 Intelligent Mobile Hotspot.

The first one is Worldcom Technology that will distribute the product through all major retail outlets and channel partners in the Middle East and North Africa — including United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

The other company that will sell Novatel’s goods is XCom Global, which provides low cost wireless data rental services for international travelers. XCom will offer the MiFi 2372 to American travelers who want to stay connected when traveling overseas. The company [XCom] has established strategic relationships with mobile operators in over 130 countries, offering wireless data plans without long-term contracts.

As a reminder, Novatel touts its MiFi product as the industry’s first intelligent mobile hotspot that allows users put their world of content, services and connectivity in the palm of their hand. Unlike external broadband modems, the MiFi platform creates a personal cloud of Internet connectivity that can be shared between multiple users and up to five WiFi devices.
