Chillingo announced that it has scored a licensing agreement with Fox Digital Entertainment to publish the official iPhone (iPod Touch and iPad) game based on the upcoming sci-fi action film – PREDATORS, presented by Robert Rodriguez. For that effort, Chillingo hired indie developer, Angry Mob Games, which is famous for making Guerrilla Bob. Predators is set to hit the AppStore just in time for the film’s theatrical release on July 9th…

As you may know, the Predators film stars Adrien Brody as Royce, a mercenary who leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers such as mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.
