WordPress has updated its iPhone app to make it fully compatible with the latest (and greatest) version of Apple’s mobile OS. It’s not a big update, but the one worth “pushing the button,” especially for all the lucky iPhone 4 owners out there. Here’s what’s changed:
- New “Add Blog” feature that adds all of your WordPress.com blogs in one easy step
- Better handling of drafts in progress when quitting the app
- Performance enhancements, UI improvements and bug fixes
- Support for fast app switching in iOS 4
- Optimized for the Retina Display on the iPhone 4
Now if Apple (or some third party accessory maker) could make some kind of a QWERTY keyboard that could be easily attached to the iPhone, I would seriously considering using it [iPhone] as a blogging tool. This way, the on-screen keyboard occupies to much of the screen estate to make writing enjoyable… WordPress remains a free app and you can grab it from a link below.
