This is a kind of an update I like – over the air, and that’s exactly what mobile advertising network Greystripe did. As a result, developers simply need to continue doing what they did before, without worrying at all. New features are added automatically and you can include Greystripe’s ad code knowing it works on the iOS 4. Likewise, existing apps that show ads from Greystripe’s network will work just as well, requiring no extra efforts.
Way to go Greystripe! Now that you’re still independent company (though with venture backing from NBC Universal’s Peacock Equity fund), you can keep playing with the iPhone ads. As far as I see, AdMob is still in the game, but that could change in the near future as the war between Google and Apple starts looming. We’ll definitely keep our eyes on the whole mobile advertising market and keep you folks in the loop. Stay tuned…
