iPhone 4′s Facetime to Be Used for Sex Chat

Although video chatting has been around for awhile, iPhone 4 and Facetime promises to popularize it, to the point that at least one business has sprung up aiming to equip a legion of phone sex operators with Apple’s latest toy. Adult industry like this already thrives online with webcam sex chat, but what makes the move to mobile really interesting is that Apple has adopted a decidedly anti-porn stance, demonstrated through both their app and Flash policies. We’ve seen porn companies spurn Apple’s defenses by adopting HTML5 for their online videos.

Here’s the company’s Craigslist entry, trying to recruit operators.

Starting an online interactive pornography firm where woman will use the iPhone 4 to video chat with potential customers on a pay as you go basis.
Hours are flexible, pay will increase as the business builds. Woman will receive a free iPhone 4 to use as personal time when not working. Woman will talk to potential clients and chat with them and perform various acts as desired by clients. All information will be confidential.

Payment will be based on percentage of sales volume and performance. Potential launch date of the company is 9/1/2010 or based on feedback received.

Woman will receive, as before mentioned, a free cell phone and a very competitive salary.

Please send information and pictures – we would like to launch sooner than 9/1/2010.

Woman must be at least 18 years old.

Nevermind the commercial implications, I’m wondering what Facetime will do for everyday sexting. Moving into video is something else altogether; the overlap between hormone-saturated teens and fashion-conscious teens with daddy’s credit card to get a new iPhone 4 is significant, and considering the use of Facetime is limited only by Wi-Fi coverage (since it won’t eat any minutes), the spread and format of sexting is primed to change. For those of us who are of age, the situation is nothing short of freakin’ sweet, but I do worry what kind of activities the iPhone 4 enables for the young’uns.
