Although we don’t have the full list of companies that will participate at the 2011 CES in Las Vegas, Nevada – we know who will keynote the event. It’s Steve Ballmer, the CEO of Microsoft, who did the same this year.

Ballmer’s keynote will kick off the 2011 International CES at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5th, in the Las Vegas Hilton Center. In previous years, Microsoft has used the CES keynote stage to launch major products including Xbox, Windows Vista and its Sync technology partnership with Ford. Hopefully, we’ll see them more “mobile focused” in 2011…

If they take the “mobile route,” we all know what to expect – the good ol’ “Developers, developers, developers” speech which hopefully (for Microsoft) will engage companies to develop software for Windows Mobile 7.

The 2011 International CES starts on January 6th and goes through January 9th, 2011. It will feature 2,500 global technology companies unveiling the latest consumer technology products and services across 15 major product categories, mobile phones included.
