New plans and add-ons from Koodo Mobile

Rumor had it a day or two ago that Koodo Mobile was going to launch some new plans and add-ons. While the rumor was to be taken with a grain of salt, I popped open the Koodo website this morning to see the very same plans and add-ons in full effect. Cool beans!

With new plans in-place, the overall offering of Koodo’s plans ring in at $25, $30, $40, $50 and $70 per month. Lots of options! A new ‘Stay Social Combo’ plan will be the $40 offering, and will include:

  • Unlimited Messaging (Text and Picture)
  • Unlimited Incoming calls
  • Up to 300 Anytime minutes
  • Social Add-on included
  • 7 PM Evening & Weekends included

A new ‘More Nationwide Talk and Text Combo’ is the $70 option, and this one features the following:

  • No Long Distance or roaming charges within Canada
  • Unlimited Messaging (Text and Picture)
  • Up to 1,000 Nationwide Anytime minutes
  • 7 PM Evening & Weekends
  • Call Display and Voicemail included

Besides the new plan offerings, a few new add-ons have been spotted too. The new ‘Social Networking’ add-on will run $10 per month, and includes 100 MB of web data, including Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live Messenger and more. The new ‘Data Connect’ add-on will run $25 per month and includes 500 MB of email, Facebook, Twitter and Windows Live Messenger as well.

So there you have it. Koodo is on the scene with some more plans and add-ons. To check them out for yourself, pop on over to Koodo Mobile… and let me know what you think.

Note: A special thanks has to go to Mr. Blurrycam on this one. I think he accidentally ran the image above through the Gaussian Blur filter in Photoshop before he sent it off.
