On the heels of the government decision to legalize MVNOs in the country, South Korea’s KT Corp has signed up three companies as its first MVNO clients. The government made MVNOs legal back in March but the change in law comes into effect next month.

Commenting on the move, KT’s director of Fast Incubation Center, Gwak Bong-gun, said: “We will help these companies offer differentiated service and find untapped, niche markets so that together we can create a mobile ecosystem.”
