Popular Google Docs sync and data management application Memeo Connect is now in version 2.0, incorporating “crucial features” that enable Google Docs to be even more SMB and enterprise-ready. Among the things included in this release is the GDrive support, full text search powered by Google, multi-select capability, advanced document filtering, “Download All” Google Docs option, real-time account status panel, “Folders Shared with Me” filter and so on.
However, we’re interested in the “mobile angle” of the announcement. That said, alongside the Memeo Connect 2.0 release, Memeo also launched Memeo Connect Reader 2.0 on the iPhone — this is their first iPhone app, version 1.0 doesn’t exist.
The dedicated application allows iPhone and iPod Touch users to see their Google Docs files in a much better way, “taking Google Docs filter views and categories to the next level.” Moreover, you can search your Google Docs files (and PDF and Office files) using the integrated Google-powered search.
Finally, there’s the simple file management and file sharing included, allowing users to delete, start/unstar files and send them via email.
